Dávid studied Physics at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, then received his PhD from mathematics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, supervised by Péter Vrana. He conducted research in the topic of multipartite entanglement measures in the framework of local operations and classical communication (LOCC). Prior to his PhD, he investigated lattice gauge theory and quantum walks.
